We believe that it is every child’s right to grow up in a home where they can be loved, nurtured, and accepted. Their separation from their biological families is devastating, and though we want to provide them a normal life at KWPI, nothing replaces the role of a family – a home they can call their own.
Our social workers partner with local authorities in tracing the families of children who were rescued or found in the streets or those who got lost. If the biological families are found capable in taking back the custody of their child, reintegration is facilitated.
However, if after diligent efforts, biological families were not found or reintegration is no longer an option, children will be submitted for adoption clearance to the national authorities so that they can be given the chance to have a new and a safe permanent home.
